The Murdock Report was a radio program on WGNU AM in St. Louis, Missouri, which ran from 2008 – 2016. It served as a strong voice for a wide range of Progressive issues from a local, state and national perspective. From humble beginnings, this “little show that could” grew an audience base from across the country, featuring analysis, commentary and interviews with experts on topics such as wealth, crime, equality, healthcare, election news, poverty, privilege, the environment, current events, social justice and human rights. Its later years are collected in the Audio Archives section of this website as a podcast. Kenny is currently the host and producer of “Resistance Radio” on 92.9 FM.
The founder and primary host of the show, Kenny Murdock has a background in both Missouri State politics and “Inside the Beltway” D.C. strategy.
Having worked throughout the nation on political campaigns, Kenny has come to a unique understanding of what actually motivates elected officials. He worked as an election specialist for the State of Missouri under Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, and is a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Political Action Committee. Mixing politics with his love of sci-fi and fantasy genres, the Murdock Report produces a texture of pop culture and political wit that highlights missed themes in today’s over-saturated political landscape.
